With over three decades of experience in the entertainment industry, we are dedicated to achieving both the professional and personal goals of our clients.

Jeff Mitchell

President

After many years as a successful youth actor in theatre, soap operas, film and over 200 television commercials, Jeff went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in acting from New York University’s Tish School of the Arts and Circle in the Square theatre conservatory. After graduating from college, he immediately transitioned over to the representation side of the business, first working as a casting assistant at Deborah Brown Casting, and later establishing and running the voice-over department at Kronick & Kelly, one of NYC’s largest talent agencies for young people (now a division of Abrams Artists). Jeff established J. Mitchell Management in March 1986. JMM is a personal management company representing actors in film, television, theater and commercials. Since that time, he and Elise Koseff established and developed the careers of dozens of film and TV personalities, including James Gandolfini (“The Soprano’s); Robert Iler (“The Soprano’s); Bryan Greenberg (“How to Make It In America”), Molly Shannon (“Saturday Night Live”) and many others. In March of 2011 Jeff partnered with Cosmo DeNicola and the two established MKS&D.

Senior Vice President

As Senior Vice President of MKS&D, Elise is responsible for the management of a selective list of the firm’s key clients, along with collaborating with the executive committee on the long term strategic goals of the firm and it’s clients. Elise joined J. Mitchell Management in 1987, with a BFA degree in Theater Arts Management from Ithaca College. Since that time, she and Jeff Mitchell established and developed the careers of dozens of film and TV personalities, including James Gandolfini (“The Soprano’s); Robert Iler (“The Soprano’s); Bryan Greenberg (“How to Make It In America”), Molly Shannon (“Saturday Night Live”) and many others.

Rachel Maran

Manager

As a Manager at MKSD, Rachel manages a select list of clients and collaborates with Senior Vice President Elise Koseff in managing joint clients. Rachel joined the company in the fall of 2014, after spending two years as an executive assistant and office manager at Sweet 180 Talent Management and Production. Rachel also has a background in casting, as a casting resident at Playwrights Horizons, casting director at EBE ensemble, and having cast multiple independent films and theatrical projects before transitioning into management. Rachel holds a BFA in acting from Tisch School of the Arts. 

Anna Fondiller

Anna Fondiller

Talent Assistant / Office Manager

Anna manages the office and assists the Talent Managers in their duties. She has previously interned at Telsey + Company, United Talent Agency, Jim Carnahan Casting at Roundabout Theatre Company, and Michael Cassara Casting. A 2019 graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University, she has a strong background in theatre and holds a BA in Sociology.

Cosmo’s commitment to his Family Business Portfolio has recently seen him acknowledged as Ernst & Young’s (EY’s) Philadelphia Region 2018 Entrepreneur of the Year. Cosmo’s business efforts and companies have been distinguished by many different international associations for their award-winning innovations in ranging from mobility technology to ERP cloud computing. His healthcare companies continue to grow with their delivery of IT consulting services and point-of-care mobility technology which improves the quality of patient healthcare delivery.

Sports & Entertainment
The positive impact that the sports industry has had in Cosmo’s life, has led to a number of the Sports Industry entrepreneurial pursuits which include leadership roles in Professional Football where his team won 2 Arena Bowl World Championships, 5 Conference Titles and 7 Division Championships. In 2014 Cosmo became and Equity Partner of Steinberg Sports and Entertainment and co-launched the Steinberg DeNicola NFL Humanitarian Awards program. Cosmo’s contributions to Sports has been recognized with his induction into the City All Stars Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame. In 2008, Cosmo joined a group of well-known media executives to acquire the brand and related assets of “Chicken Soup for the Soul” the worldwide integrated media and merchandising company providing consumers with inspiring life improvement programming and products. In 2015 Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment was formed to build a network of video–on–demand networks to deliver life style content for all types of screens, connected by pillars of positivity, hope and comfort. His Talent Management firm, MKS&D represents actors and creative talent that include Tony and Grammy Awards Winners and Nominees such as Robert Iler (The Sopranos), Grammy nominated Mack Wilds (The Wire, 90210, Red Tails), and Tony award winner Nikki M. James (Book of Mormon).

Humanitarian
Cosmo’s Humanitarian efforts are focused on areas that impact world health, cultural diplomacy and recognition for those that influence change. He serves as a board member of the Humpty Dumpty Institute (HDI), a New York based non-profit organization that works in tandem with the United Nations to implement humanitarian projects tackling difficult global and domestic issues. The Steinberg DeNicola NFL Humanitarian Awards, on a yearly basis, recognizes individuals involved with the NFL for their outstanding contributions to their communities.

Family
Cosmo resides in the Philadelphia area with Janet, his wife of 45 years. Cosmo and Janet have raised two children Morgan and Michael. Morgan, a graduate of LIU Post, is the Cosmo DeNicola Companies Humanitarian Program Manager and serves in roles with humanitarian organizations such as Humpty Dumpty International (HDI) and The United Nations. Michael DeNicola and his wife Stephanie reside in Philadelphia where both are involved in the Cosmo DeNicola Companies. Michael, a graduate of Moravian College, is the Director of Customer Engagement for Amtech Software. Stephanie, a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, is the Human Resources and Professional Development Director for The Cosmo DeNicola Companies. Michael and Stephanie have two beautiful daughters, Raisa and Korbyn, where Cosmo and Janet actively participate in their childhood experience.

After ten years as a successful actor, having appeared Off Broadway, on numerous soap operas, in various films and in over 200 television commercials, Jeff decided to pursue other opportunities in the entertainment industry. After working as a casting assistant at Deborah Brown Casting, Jeff left that position to establish and run the voice-over department at Kronick & Kelly, one of the largest talent agencies for young people (now a division of Abrams Artists). Jeff has a bachelor’s degree in acting and psychology from New York University.

In March of 1986, Jeff established J. Mitchell Management, a personal management company for representation in film, television, theater and commercials. At that time, Jeff was the youngest talent representative to own his own company. Since then J. Mitchell Management grew to be one of the premiere talent management firms in the country representing artists in both NY and Los Angeles.

In March of 2011 Jeff entered into a partnership with Cosmo DeNicola to form MKS&D. Jeff has relocated to Los Angeles to drive business expansion and client services in the heart of the film and television industry.

Janet DeNicola is a technology entrepreneur, and owner of two national IT companies, Futura Services, Inc. and Futura Healthcare Technology, LLC. Janet is an active member of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and Women’s Presidents’ Organization. From developing the strategic plan to overseeing the financial management of her companies, Janet has assembled a world-class organization to meet the ever-changing needs of Futura’s customers. Janet is also an active investor in film, theater and music productions.
